Easy good food . Burger was great. Parking was tricky

Had a great lunch lunch with the family. Wonderful service and some nice beers. Food & drinks: Great selection and reasonably priced.

We stayed here for one night. Had lunch which was very tasty and the room was clean and well-stocked with tea/coffee. The pub is a magnificent building full of character but the main draw for us to come back is the wonderful staff that work there. Nothing was too much trouble (and we had a VERY mucky dog!) and they did everything they could to help us in whatever we needed ..... and all done with a smile. Well done . Rooms: Lovely large room with a very comfortable bed. Food & drinks: Lovely, tasty lunch and a massive full english breakfast to start our day on.
