We went in for a drink after a weekend of hiking. The staff were friendly and welcoming to us all.

Fantastic pub experience with very friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable seating areas.

Ok, so we popped in as a group of friends staying in the village to eat out for the evening. Unfortunately they weren't doing food on a Saturday night. Which was a bit surprising.. until we found out that the owners had left and the staff were in fact volunteer locals. Fair enough. And then.. Angela came to our table and made the most generous offer - which I won't repeat so it's not expected by everyone - that was so appreciated by everyone there. Lovely locals going above and beyond - winner.

Under new management, and kitchen team. Unfortunately there are a few teething problems to get sorted. The quality of food wasn't good. Staff were friendly and welcoming and took feedback well. Hopefully they will be able to fix kitchen issues.

Food & drinks: Excellent food and and a good choice of drinks. Very welcoming friendly service. I would visit again.
