Cannot really write a review as got here at 2:15pm on a Sunday only to be told they were closing early due to lack of customers. So if you want Sunday Lunch you had better get here real early as they may decide to lock up shop fast. Looked good, but cannot give a thumbs up to any business that's turning away customers in these hard times (along with my group there were at least 10 other people who were turned away that we saw). I expect with business practices like this the next time this place will be closed... permanently.
Dinner was fantastic, service was on point and funny! Highly recommend!!
We all ordered different entres and all the food we ordered was good. Potato salad tasted home made. Servings were adequate. Met with relatives I hadn't seen in awhile and wasn't rushed out and was able to have a fun visit. Alcoholic drinks were all good and refreshing. Sevice was great too.
great service good music cider on tap. Best fish and chips in the area! Saved me a trip across the pond!
Drove over an hour to try this place even called to make sure they open at 10:00am for breakfast/brunch. Was told absolutely yes. Waited outside the establishment with 11 other people, called the restaurant, knocked on the door and no one answered. Around 10:20am we all decided to go to other venues to eat. We found just up the road Best of British Pub this was great! I emailed the owner of The Friar Tuck and they told me that basically I was a liar that they were most certainly open. They were not open and if they call their patrons liars this is no business that I want to support.
I love this place. We went with friends half of our foursome is British and we love the atmosphere and the food is delicious. We also LOVE that we can nip in the shop to buy british food to take home. Please be open forever.
Best fish and chips around.
Great place and Sunday Roast, been several times and will continue to come!
