Really decent pub food. Bit on the salty side, but around good. Dog-friendly.

Excellent food,specially adapted sea bass with no spice. Service as good,Sat outside, nice pint of Adnams.

Excellent beef and nut roast options. Good quality, well cooked with fab service. Lovely atmosphere. Very busy for a Sunday evening. Highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Tasty home made nut roast wellington. Such a change from some of the boring veggie options.

Very nice atmosphere and food very good

Cosey pub restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely food across a Saturday and Sunday. Had: the steak burger and billionaire burger on Saturday and a chicken roast + beef roast on Sunday. All beef cooked to perfection. Chicken, moist and easy to eat. Good portion sizes. Only downfall would be, it’s a tad warm.

Good quality food, nice for a quick lunch, the bayou buns need more sauce, chips good but could have been deeper fried. Service good, quick and efficient. Over all a good experience but wouldn’t rush back I’m honest, love to support local but needed it to be way better than we can do at home. Worth a visit but for us just needed a little bit more !

This pub is very well set up for COVID with plenty of room at bar to order and full length perspex screen. Seating well spaced inside and plenty of well spaced seating outside. One way in and separate way out. Lots of parking both at site and over the road. Visited again, this time for a meal in the aevening. Everything as before, quick service but had to send meal back as way overcooked and just tasted of burnt meat. Accepted by staff and replacement provided but by time it arrived it was turning dark and no tub of sauce came with it unlike the first plate. The meat was quite dry so really dis need some sauce. So food best described as mediocre and I would have exacted more for the price. Pity as otherwise lovely place to have a meal and drink outside.
