The Empanada Bar

This was my first visit and it was Amazing! I had the original chicken, Cuban, Cheeseburger, and the Key Lime. They were all fabulous. The chimichurri is off the chain!!! I will be going back often.

Update: The uncooked bacon, egg, & cheese baked up great in my convection oven. They would do great in an air fryer as well. I highly recommend them! I tried all 3 of the sweet flavored empanadas, key lime, pineapple, and guava & cream cheese. They were all 3 excellent! I bought the uncooked bacon, egg, and cheese ones to heat up tomorrow for breakfast. We will definitely return!!!

I was hesitant to go there at first because I thought who could get full eating empanadas. The answer is me and the number is 3. Honestly, after 2 empanadas, I was full but I just had to finish the chicken. My favorite was the Cuban. The chicken was good and the spinach artichoke was a delicious vegetarian option. Although my stomach was full, I did try a bite of the guava and cheese which was very good and not overly sweet. All of them were so delicious that I got Cuban, beef, chicken and a key lime pie to take home to my husband. The service was excellent. The inside dining area was spotless. Please support this small business.

Family owned restaurant with a wide variety of savory empanadas and desert empanadas. All the types I’ve tried are delicious, especially the original beef. Try it with the cilantro lime sauce. They have a good variety of sodas, beer and wine to choose from.

New place. Great food. Veteran family owned. Update: Out riding and went out of my way for an empanada. Well worth the extra mile ot two.

Ok yall really gotta try this place!! Soooo cute food delicious..but the key lime empanada...OUT OF BOUNDS!!!! HUBBY LOVES THE CHEESEBURGER ONE TOO

Visited finally and it was well worth it. I loved the cheeseburger, chicken and he enjoyed the Cuban so much that I didn’t ask for a bite. I will try it on my own.. alone.. lol. I will return. Service was great. Each one is a yummy experience. Each one had the initials of the type on the crust.. very creative. See y’all later!

Best empanadas! There are so many flavors to choose from, and they all taste great!! Great atmosphere too! The owners are wonderful and super friendly. You can tell they take great pride in what they do, and their product speaks for itself. 10/10 will recommend this place to anyone visiting League City!
