The Elk

Very kind about my dietary needs and I enjoyed the food too. We will be back. Dietary restrictions: They customized my late lunch with no onion and my gluten intolerance. The waitress made suggestions with the least garlic as well.

The guy who has been at the bar for at least a year or two now when we go in for lunch is so consistently rude that we’ve decided never to go back after patronizing The Elk for over a decade. He is curt and unfriendly, never wants to discuss menu items or drink selection, and even walks away while we’re talking to him - he seriously does that often. The last time we were there he charged me for a beer I sent back because I didn’t like it, got our side dish wrong, then got it wrong again after we sent it back. He seems to dislike the patrons, or his job in general, and no amount of trying to be pleasant to him or engage him in conversation is reciprocated at all. The Elk has just become unpleasant. We’re tired of trying and will not return.

Great food. Friendly attentive waiter. Nice atmosphere. Not rushed at all.

Food was great, we were from out of town so cant visit again but would go back if i lived there. Service was on point too. Had the smash burger and really enjoyed it!

One of the best local chill spots, the food is amazing!

Our first time eating at The Ell and it will be a must every time we are in Spokane. Food is amazing, good service.
