The Elizabethan Inn

Incredible food, friendly and very personable staff, all round lovely experience. They made the effort to accommodate us even though we hadn't booked and they were already incredibly busy. Would recommend to anyone, even if they had to drive out of their way to get here. Vegetarian options: Several very nice vegetarian options available. Were willing to make changes to other meals to make them vegetarian.

Excellent food and service

Beautiful restaurant, the newer extension is bright and airy with a nice log burner and high ceilings. Staff is really lovely and friendly. Had dinner with 25 colleagues there, and all went smoothly, 3 courses presented without a fault. Highly recommended. There is also good size carpar right behind.

Great food and proper beer. Staff very good, not always very attentive when busy and the coffees we ordered never came but, of course they got added to the bill! Anyway, they were removed along with the price of a pint by way of apology. A good evening though and a very good meal in the extension which is a lovely, airy room.
