Queue a bit if busy but great food during bike ride
A great independent business to visit! As fellow small business owners we like to support great businesses like the Dunham barn when we can. We finally managed to visit today as it was a Bank Holiday and we weren't disappointed. Lovely staff, great food and a very friendly and passionate owner! Good value too! Keep up the wonderful work.
The breakfast is delicious
Took mum for afternoon tea. Food was excellent, service good and everyone very polite. Will definitely return. Had eaten most before photo
Great for a snack while you're out walking
Very nice country cafe with extra seating outside, for warmer days. Coffee was really good for a decaff with almond milk. My daughter had a scone with cream n jam. She enjoyed it. The lady behind the counter was friendly. Good experience.
Garlic mushrooms on sourdough toast absolutely delicious and big portion
Visited yesterday and have a very mixed review. The barn was cold we had to keep our coats on and tables were dirty with dishes, which took a while to clear by staff. Atmosphere and menu choice was good, and staff were pleasant. Biggest concern is one of our party now has really bad food poisoning, and is very ill. Lunch was the only thing they ate. We will not be visiting again.
A delightful converted barn offering breakfasts, light lunches, cakes and scones. Some indoor seating plus a covered open air area with more seating and numerous picnic tables outside with a large field containing more picnic benches. An ideal break for walkers and cyclists, near to a canal path and near to Dunham Massey National Trust park. Ample parking, toilet facilities, superb food and pleasant staff. What more could you ask for. Very highly recommended. Still as good as ever. Today I obtained a loyalty card.
