The Devonshire

Had a great meal here, I have an allergy to something that's not in the top 14, I was very well looked after, manager Emma was very understanding and reassuring. Loved the jokes in the toilets - listening to Victoria Wood will definitely visit again.

I was with a party of ten. We had pre-booked our order and after we had got our drinks ( Great quality real ales) ,as soon as we were seated our meals arrived. No complaints from anyone. Well done the Devonshire.

Three vegan options on the whole menu? There used to be a lot more, but obviously they've decided they don't really want to/can't be bothered to cater for plant-based diets! It's disappointing, to be honest.

While, perhaps, not being a first choice as a drinkers' pub, The Devonshire has a lovely atmosphere and an excellent menu that transcends "pub grub" making it a great destination for lunch or dinner. There are some decent local ales on offer and a reasonably decent wine list. The staff are both friendly and patient.

Great pub / restaurant in Belper on the main A6 but with a large car park behind. Real ale good, great food here tonight. We’ll recommend
