I visited after I had seen my Chiropractor. Friendly staff, very clean, varied menu, some vegan meals, lovely relaxed atmosphere, food was fresh, plenty and tasted amazing! Dog friendly too!! Parking: Parking is off road as the cafe is situated within a small courtyard where other companies run.
I can't really say anything about the food, as I am vegan and unfortunately, there are no vegan options at all, apart from cinnamon bun. The service is always great, they are lovely, although you have to allow some time for your order. The place is cosy, especially the upstairs area. I can't wait to be able to use outdoor space in the warm days.
My wife and I visited this week. We had a lovely time there. The carpark is ample with plenty of spaces. The 1st impression upon walking in was one of a relaxing atmosphere. The music was just right with a mellow jazz piano sounds. The decor is exceptional a laid back arrangement of comfy chairs and dining tables. The team were very welcoming and friendly. The menu consisted of a breakfast and lunch options time limited between am and pm. As we arrived before midday we went with the full English. Which is very good. It was nice to see black pudding included, which is a rarity these days. Whilst it wasn't the best black pudding I have ever had. It was acceptable. The bacon, eggs mushrooms were on point and very good. The coffee is of good quality as is the Tea. The value for money is spot on. Young children are catered for and it was lovely to see a dad attending to his little boy and the staff attending to a fathers needs. Over all a wonderful atmosphere with a friendly service and good quality food and drink. Highly recommend
Lovely tea room with great food.
I’ve been a regular here for about the last 2 years. The proprietor’s Sharon and Ross have created something really special here. The atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxing and the quality of the food is excellent, with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Nice selection of cakes too. Special evening entertainment events are also a regular feature here including a quiz night on most Fridays.
We recently visited the tearoom on the way to Center Parcs and from the moment we stepped inside, the service was absolutely fantastic. We had our two children with us, and our baby was not in a good mood! The gents that were serving us couldn't have been more helpful. They went over and above to try and keep my wife's lunch warm whilst she settled the baby and made us all feel very much at home. We'll definitely visit again and would recommend it to anyone. The food was fantastic, lovely and fresh and homemade.
The lunches are good here too! Worth the extra 3 mile drive from the "services" & McDs. Home made Pies. What's there not to like?
Great little spot.. Always very good.
