I recently had the pleasure of dining at THE CURRY HOUSE , and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The decor was modern yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The star of the show, however, was the curry. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor, perfectly balanced and expertly spiced. The menu offered a variety of curry options, from traditional classics to innovative new creations. I opted for the Lamb Shank, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The meat was tender, and the sauce was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. What impressed me most was the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience. The service was prompt and attentive, ensuring that my water glass was never empty and my needs were always met. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return to try more of the menu. Placed a takeaway order with them only to have it cancelled forty minutes later! That's five minutes after the earliest delivery time we were expecting. Highly annoying to leave it forty minutes.

Unfortunately went into bin after picking the chicken out. Extremely over priced, a waste of money. Naan tasteless. Being charged £4.50 for garlic rice (boiled rice with slices of raw garlic) a slap in the face. Think was probably a busy dinner service and were getting deliveries out quickly.

Second time here in as many months. Last time pretty much our whole group agreed it was one of the best currys we had tried. Last night was exactly the same, a superb meal in a pleasant environment.

OK average quality food, OK service, lovely setting and atmosphere but way over priced.

My family came to eat here on Christmas Day as everywhere else was full. Wow what a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely amazing ! A veritable feast! A whole 3 hours of wonderful food. The service was excellent - the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome , asked if our granddaughter would like a different menu, and generally were very friendly and efficient. If we lived in Shrewsbury we would be back again next year for sure. Thanks for making our Christmas Kid-friendliness: Very happy to offer different food for my granddaughter . Very welcoming

It is curry house , so it will be in and out , not going to be your 5 stars restaurant, however the food was very nice , the portion was good , and not bad price , I do recommend Vegetarian options: Nice big selection Parking: Its near by 2 parking places, it's free after 6pm Wheelchair accessibility: I don't think will be easy for wheelchair to get in

I would not recommend ethnic brown people come here. These Indians are extremely racist, I had a reservation a day ago. They placed me at a table almost in the middle, they constantly came to hurry us up and move the plates, then some White British arrived without a reservation. and they began to hurry us up. One of them told my female friend to leave. I have been a resident of Shrewsbury for years, but my friends are only in the UK for a few months, doing a church service.
