The Courtyard Restaurant at Ox Pasture Hall Hotel

Cosy restaurant, high end menu, lovely attentive staff and food was brilliant. Ignore any bad reviews!

I saw adverts online about a new chef and new lunch menu. Thought we'd book lunch. No online booking so I rang the number on the friday. 5 times between me and my wife it took to get through. Then the person had to ask the kitchen what time lunch was actually served. Like what the heck is going on there? Anyway. Booked for 130pm Sunday. Next thing we know they rang us up at 6pm on Saturday to tell us that "there was a problem and they can't serve us lunch" I mean come on? It's no wonder that place never gets going as a restaurant despite multiple attempts and however many chefs. The place is poorly run and terribly organised. We recommend Clarks on Queen Street as an alternative.

STUNNING. We are simple people who like a treat every now and then. This meal was unbelieveable. Everything was perfect. We were looked after perfectly.
