Sunday lunch was delicious. Roast beef was melt in the mouth. The vegetarian wellington was also delicious. The kit-kat cheesecake wow. Served with clotted cream. Staff were friendly as normal. Lovely place for a meal well recommended.

Over paid £45.35 for fish and chips and a coke ..fish and chips wasn't worth £19 each and utter disgusting £7.35 for a glass of coke . Never ever again. Mother in law said it tasted terrible . I am lucky enough to have not be able to taste thanks to having COVID and my taste and smell have gone . . This review is 100 % true obviously they don't like the truth .

Another stop to get something to eat but ran out of food which a shame for Sunday roast, limited out side parking but on street parking Looks nice inside and the staff was nice Parking: Easy parking a bit of uneven floor to the entrance so this will not be wheelchair friendly and moving round the pub would be difficult as well not too much space and other levels

We were staying in the local area last week and decided to have a Sunday roast here. Wow! The food was absolutely delicious.. the best roast I think I’ve ever had. Berry crumble and custard for dessert was beyond amazing. The atmosphere was warm and cosy. We had a small issue with one of the kids meals which was dealt with and rectified immediately. We cannot wait to visit Hayle and The Cornish Arms again! Thank you

A must visit for us whenever we are in Cornwall. The Sunday Roast is absolutely top notch and I am so thrilled to find a vegan option for my friends that is the same calibur as everything else on the menu. We will be heading back soon to try everything on the tapas menu! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Until next time- as for now I will day dream about those fabulous cocktails, patio and chips! Vegetarian options: The vegan options are fantastic!!! Kid-friendliness: Staff are very welcoming and attentive to kids needs.

Went today for a Sunday roast. Unfortunately let down with the roast itself, was only slightly warm with some undercooked and crunchy veg. The dessert made up for a bit as they were rather nice. Good beer. Wouldn't return for a Sunday roast

Absolutely shocking if I’m paying £16.50 for a Sunday roast I would expect good food but that was not the case at all and not enough of it! It was like a child’s portion I was still hungry after it and it didn’t even come with a Yorkshire pudding but when asked if we could have one they said we couldn’t and the gravy was rubbish really disappointed with everything I had high expectations for this place. Felt unsatisfied when leaving and the staff didn’t have the best attitude at all.

All the girls were miserable, no one asked how our meal was - the answer would have been…awful, £16.50 for a child’s size roast with lamb full of gristle, a piece of hard grilled cauliflower, three lousy potatoes and some sort of brown tasteless water full of oil they call gravy… after paying for the meal we left and still said thank you to the staff and not one of the 5 waitresses who were stood staring into thin air even bothered to reply or even acknowledges us leaving. Terrible food, terrible service will not be returning.

Very quaint and comfortable local pub, staff very friendly and attentive. Went for Sunday lunch, and I couldn't fault it. Good selection of local ales, ciders, and spirits. Parking: The pub has a small free car park but it fills fast, other than that there is street parking but can be quite a squeeze.
