Went to Corner House New Years Eve had a great time and food was good. We went tonight for Valentines day was very disappointed. I ordered baked stuff haddock special it was cold and very dry asparagus were ice cold French fries were hot. When waitress Riley came to clear table and see if we wanted dessert I told her my dinner was cold and very dry could not eat it and she just apologized and that was it. For a $32.00 ,meal I felt she could of done something like take something off our bill. I guess we won't be going back there in the future.
We ordered takeout, and the wife got fish and chips ,I got a chicken sandwich. Fish was 1/4 inch thick with the batter, fries were good, and she got a thimble full of cabbage with no dressing could ya spare some Cole slaw ! My chicken was just overcooked dried out chicken fingers with nothing on it but cheese that was melted so bad it looked microwaved. Very disappointing trying to support local, but it's different every time we try going back. Sad part is someone in the kitchen put that meal together and said it was good to go.
I love this place. Great food and local conversations in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
Delicious food and service.
Great atmosphere, the food was good, but the steak tips were a little tough
Everything I’ve had there has been good if not great. I am an appitizers, drink and desert girl so I can’t judge on the entrees but others at my table were satisfied with theirs. Every resturant is having issues with staff, which makes a busy place like this struggle at times but Kudos for them for pushing through. The live music is always a bonus ! I’m thrilled with the progress since the new owners took over and happy to frequent the Corner House Inn again
Menu and hours are now limited. No hunters' meatloaf anymore. It's sad but one of the best restaurants around is becoming average and will likely go out of business due to the competition.
