The Chop House

Great food. Great service. Highly recommend

The atmosphere was fine. However the food and beverage along with the service at this chain location wasn’t up to expectations. The Old-Fashioned drink I ordered was watery and the glass was covered in stickiness. I had to get some water to put on a napkin and clean the glass before I could drink it. I mean it was slathered in stickiness and not just a spot. Also, I ordered a cup of shrimp bisque and the tenderloin Caesar salad, medium rare. The steak after I cut into it was well done - through and through - not a spot of pink. After delivery my wait staff become a ghost so I ate it and asked someone to bring my check when I was finished. I was eating alone on a business trip this visit and dinner sadly didn’t last very long. I would have lingered longer and ordered more had the drink and food at least been better. This is not up to par for this chain. Hopefully it will be better next time as I will give them another try when passing through thinking this experience was just a one time anomaly.

Best prime rib in town!

I took my mom out to dinner after church Sunday and she ordered the house pork chop and she said that was the best food she ever tasted. Matter of fact I ordered the same thing but I already tried it a month before and I was impressed even more. Come on down everyone to the chop house in Kingsport and be amazed how good your lips will smack.

Some of the restaurants my family and I like to dine at can be a hit or miss on certain occasions.... The Chop House stands in a category all by itself.... From the time you walk through the front door, until you exit the building.. The entire experience is 5 star. I felt like my entire family was catered to through the entire meal... The food was cooked perfectly.... My prime rib could have been cut with a butter knife... I would like to conclude that it takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes for us to drive to the Chop House. And it's worth every minute of it.....

We actually went to a seminar where they fed us for free the food was phenomenal and if we had to pay for it the prices would have been phenomenal too I do feel that the 10 oz ribeye was way overpriced even the salmon and chicken was well overpriced I'm just glad I did not have to pay for it out of my own pocket other than being very expensive it was a really great meal and if I didn't have one check a month living on disability I would try to eat there more often Parking: They were packed we did not have to park way in the back but that's the way my husband is there's plenty of parking all the way around the building

Blackened Mahi Mahi was fantastic. Heath Bar Ice Cream, YUM!
