Lovely pub that overlooks the countryside towards Otley. Welcoming staff & with good service. The food is more of a homemade style & portions were generous. The burgers tended to be on the dry side & salty tasting.
Sunday dinner was banging. Prices much more affordable - glad it's reopened!
We are so happy the chevin has reopened, food and staff are lovely. Obviously just in the process of renovating and bringing the old girl back to life!
Lovely food, great service. Dietary restrictions: Good GF V options
The food was homemade, fresh, piping hot and plentiful. The hosts are extremely welcoming and The Black Sheep is excellent! So glad to see the new management have hit the nail on the head. All in all, a very welcoming pub with great food and great beer. What more could you want?! We shall be back soon.
Great food and lovely service
Called on way home for a quick pint ended up having some food as well and must say it was spot on will definitely call in again soon. Friendly team chef and bar staff were very welcoming.
Unfortunately, I think The Chevin has only been open for a few weeks, and the heating was not at its best. The room was very draughty and rather chilly for sitting about. The food was good, although my wifes' chicken dish had not been cooked through, but there was no problem rectifying the problem, The prices for our food was a little higher than expected, but in general, we had no complaints, as we realise that prices are on the increase. The staff were very pleasant, helpful, and chatty. I will go again, as I feel that the Chevin can only get better. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs
