The Capital Burger

Traveled from Arlington to meet a friend for dinner last night. Checked the website before leaving to confirm hours. When I arrived the location was closed for a private event. Would’ve been great to post that on the website. Recommend calling in advance to confirm the restaurant is actually open to the public.

Max was incredible! Personality was just what I needed and attention to detail was phenomenal. I would 100% be back and suggest everyone to come meet Max!

This is an unassuming restaurant on the corner of 7th Street Northwest and New York avenue Northwest. While I can't judge the atmosphere too much because I arrived as they were opening, it looks like it could be a very lively place. There was also outdoor seating. I had the lobster roll which is an amazing meal. The bread is excellent and the lobster succulent. While it does not quite compare to a restaurant I attend visit regularly in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. I believe it's a matter of preference. The wait staff is amazing. They are all friendly, professional and well-dressed. I happened to be seated where I could see into the kitchen and it appeared that the kitchen staff is also well-dressed and professional. The kitchen appeared very clean as well. I visited several other restaurants in DC while I was there for the weekend and I must say this place was top notch. I only knocked one star off on atmosphere because I couldn't really judge based on the time of day that I went.

My Swiss mushroom burger was really good. Interior of the restaurant looks pretty nice.

Burger was delicious. Service is the best.

Always get burgers! Never visit DC without going here at least once!
