The Café HOT.

An innovation in egg sandwich technology. The “chicken-fried egg” is unlike anything my tastebuds have gotten a hold of. The donuts are uniquely pleasing, an adventure of textures and tastes. Only downside is that they don’t take phone orders and the online ordering is glitchy and more expensive. Also, when they do sandwiches to go they don’t actually wrap them up in a way that would preserve their heat. Definitely more of a dine in location, which is strange because their food selections seem like it would most likely lend itself to on-the-go dining. Still deserves a 5 star review though for whatever egg-based witchcraft is happening in the kitchen.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches. Period. If you're in Burlington, they're a must try.

This place is over the top. I have went several times and it’s always been amazing. The service is great - good vibes. I recommend the number 8 and the brakefast, but I really don’t think you can go wrong. Do not skip the bonut for dessert.

Such a great spot with a fun vibe. Everyone was super nice and the food was amazing. I got the Breakfast Sandwich and it was delicious with so much flavor. Also, would highly recommend the Espresso Glaze. It's the perfect treat and the texture was perfect. Can't wait to visit again!

We came here in Dec 2021 when it was just the takeout window. Forgot to review but we loved it so much we came back in Feb 2024. The staff are all so nice and friendly, and the owners/brothers are on site. The bonuts are so good - refreshing take on donuts and biscuits with some unique flavors. And that GBC - so so gooey and tasty! But the stars of the day are the Breakfast Sandwich and Number 8. Breakfast sandwich tasted so fresh, and the harissa is a nice touch of mild heat. Number 8 has a good amount of heat, and it’s unbelievable that it’s not chicken! We are so impressed by this great breakfast spot that is worth every penny and wish them continued success!

Went here with a friend for a casual brunch on a Friday morning (10am). Great food, quick service, and friendly staff. I even got a free donut--very tasty. Had the DIY biscuit sandwich with impossible sausage and their delicious hot sauce. The only downside is I found it a little pricey...but perhaps not these days for downtown Burlington. Will definitely try and go again! Vegetarian options: I am pretty sure the menu is all vegetarian with some vegan options.

Food was not good. Music was loud and very eclectic - not for everyone.

Excellent food (vegetarian without being preachy) arrives super fast, fun and friendly counter service, reasonable prices, and the world's best donuts. The Cafe HOT is a treasure.

The food can be messy if you get the sandwiches. Coffee is good coming 4oz espressos to 8oz amercanos (I think). This place has big donuts, so if you like donuts, then this place is perfect. The music is nice and but can be loud for some, it's a good environment for students from a city environment or needs a background noice to study but if you need the peace and quite, don't come here. All in all, I like it. I'm definitely coming back for coffee and buttermilk donuts .
