The Botanist Cardiff Bay

Great food in a lovely location. Nice decor and great service!

Went to the Botanist Cardiff bay for the first time we have visited the city center restaurant many times. And it didn't disappoint we received a lovely friendly welcome wonderful atmosphere and a beautiful meal we will be back

Beautiful looking place however food was very disappointing, bland and turned up completely cold and considering the place was very quiet on a Monday, we expected the food to at least be warm. Would not recommend.

What a lovely lunch , really impressed with this restaurant went for a pre theatre lunch and it was delicious, we had the kebabs and food was fresh and hot. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we really enjoyed

Amazing experience. Lovely atmosphere and clean place to enjoy the bay. Sat upstairs and had the hanging kebab skewers. Lovely and tasty with a few cocktails. Highly recommend, great staff, all very friendly and accommodating... Thanks again, we will be back

Unfortunately I was quite unimpressed by the service and quality of the food, their 'signature' hanging kebabs were ordered, when the food arrived it was cold/cool, when I advised the waiter, the response was 'hmm, cold' and he walked off. It seemed we were not the only ones to be unhappy, one family of 3 just got up and walked out. I will not visit again and will definitely not recommend to others. Disappointed and unimpressed, obviously a pretentious attempt at being a fancy restaurant. I have given 1 star because the deserts were lovely.

Awful.. Both myself and my partner ordered the chicken Kebabs. My partners was cold and my only had 2 pieces of chicken on it... I will definitely not return
