Very comfortable seating with water view and walking/bicycle path. Food was delicious and server was great
Place Nice closer to the beach
Prompt and responsive service on the early afternoon of a winter weekday. The food is well-described in the menu and was attractively presented and delicious. A bacon-wrapped filet mignon was cooked exactly as ordered and served over a tasty mixture of lightly sautéed spinach and roughly mashed potatoes. A braised (pulled) short rib grilled cheese sandwich accompanied by small green salad could not have been better. A great water view but a bit noisier indoors than people with less than acute hearing will find comfortable for conversation.
Beautiful location on the water. Its not really a restaurant. This place is a throw it in the microwave and reheat the premade frozen meal. $40 gray color steak cooked medium- not edible, microwaved chicken. I would not return here.
The Beach House has an excellent location - right on the water and the East Bay Pike Path. A great place to watch the sunset... if you aren't hungry. I can't help but notice how so many good reviews mention the view and location, but don't say much about what they ate. Now I know why. The calamari appetizer was flavorful and nicely cooked, though small for the price. I'd order it again. Unfortunately, the entrees told a different story. My friend had the swordfish with a side of fries and asparagus. She said the sword was overcooked and dry, and the fries were cold and limp. I did not taste it. I ordered the Paella, which was not cheap but I expect that. What I got was yellow rice with 3 calamari rings, 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, and a bunch of tiny salmon nuggets, or at least I think that is what they were. The calamari was overcooked and rubbery. The shrimp were overcooked and dry. The multitude of salmon pieces were the size of a quarter of a postage stamp and were so dry and hard that I'm only guessing that they were salmon. The scallops were properly cooked but cold. The dish had an overall good flavor, but was small, very dry and not hot. I've also never had a paella that had no mussels or clams of some sort. It was as though the kitchen took their side order of saffron rice (which looks just like their paella) and took all of the other pre-cooked ingredients from other containers, threw them together, gave them a mild zap in the microwave and viola, it's paella. BTW, that is not how paella in made. I will not be back. Our server was nice, though.
Had a wonderful brunch at The Beach House. Service was great and the people were very friendly!
We recently had a reception after a loved one's funeral at the Beach House. It unfortunately fell on the day of the horrific rain storm. The service was cut short due to the weather and we found ourselves early for the reception. Eric and his team could not have been more accommodating. They were able to get us set up early and let us stay as long as we needed. The waitstaff was amazing the food was fantastic. They really went out of their way to help our family. Great people, great views and great food.
