Food was amazing. Would love to try the dinner. Would have been five stars if my drink would've come out before we had almost finished our food. We ordered everything at the same time, inquired about the cocktail after about 10 minutes, didn't come out until all of our food. Loved the Brussel sprouts, fried potatoes, chicken wings, mussels and Cesar salad.
Run, don’t walk to this restaurant. The food as expected by an Andres restaurant is amazing, inventive and delicious. The service is 5 star & if that wasn’t enough the atmosphere, the scenery is spectacular. A true fine dining experience.
I took my mom to lunch and we loved the location and service but food was incredibly bad. The ingredients were anything but fresh. The flavors outdated, overly salty or bland. I had oxtail croquetas that had a syrupy inside. The crab soup was salty with too much turmeric. But the worst dish were the brussels sprouts which were inedible. How do you mess up Brussel sprouts? The spices in this dish were stale. I sent it back and got the mussels instead, which were bland. Perhaps this restaurant was good at one time, but now if I could use one word to describe it, it would be, stale. Needless to say, this place isn’t cheap. The worst $130 I’ve ever spent at a restaurant.
Dietary restrictions: First thing they asked before we were seated and when the waitress gave us the menus
Everything is phenomenal. If they have the Jamon, do yourself a favor and order the larger plate of it. After a warm day walking around seeing museums the caipirinha was a nice and strong little frozen drink to refresh before starting appetizers or dinner. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection. Best meal experience we’ve ever had (so far). Try to make reservations in advance if you can, especially for a weekend. What an amazing place for a special occasion too. Parking: Street parking, (cost depends on time of day) garages nearby, or they have valet.
Fantastic dining experience - delicious, attentive service, and nice venue, in the indoor courtyard of the Waldorf Astoria. A la carte. Must haves: neptune pillows, beef tartare, oxtail croquetas, and rossejat negra. Interesting: baby Japanase peaches. Can skip: piso manchego and escalivada eggplant - the dish just does not work as well. Drinks are delicious, try thr margarita or foggy hill.
Went here for lunch. The food was fine. While the presentation was creative, the flavors did not meet the expectations. The brussel sprouts were colorful and cooked well but were overall a bit bland. The crab croquettes were crispy, but the inside again lacked any substantial taste. My biggest gripe was regarding the water service. When we were first approached, we were offered either sparkling or still water, that's it. Since we had two options, we chose still water. I wish we would have known that still water is $12 per bottle. Tap should have been offered as well since that is something we could have chosen. I don't believe it is honest for a restaurant to only offer the two options that increase the check value. Honestly, it makes you feel like you got tricked into paying for something you didn't really want if you had known about a third option. I would not go back.
Great location and space. A bit of mixed bag on customer service.
