The Battery Cafe

Been going there for years. Rob runs a grand spot. The baristas are very friendly and handle the daily, holiday, and summer rushes with grace. My favourite times are usually early morning. Over the years I’ve been impressed with the high quality of coffee and the food. *The breakfast wrap is to die for. I’ll have to post a pic. They have original art, live music during the week, and for the coffee connoisseur, a little slice of heaven, with a grand view. Kid-friendliness: Family’s often visit.

Beautiful little place to enjoy a tea or coffee. It's very small inside and some of the seating should be reconfigured. Out of the four tables available, 3 we're occupied by lone customers, the fourth table was awkwardly placed. This is the only "complaint" as the food and drinks were top-notch. Definitely will be back! And in warmer weather, there's lots of picnic tables outside. Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free desserts available Parking: Much of the parking in the area is by permit. There's a couple of places to park, just ensure that you're not in a permit area.

It is nice place, good coffee but when they close at 14h don’t ask for food at 13h30….
