The Barn Light Bar

Could be a cool place, when I visited in years past it was, but now anytime I pop in, there's NOBODY at the bar or even in line of sight. I gave up multiple times after standing there for more than 10 minutes.

I love doing karaoke and stand up comedy. Great sound system. Good priced drinks and sexy bartenders.

Terrible experience. Owner was rude and unreasonable. I would pay 10 times the cost to go anywhere else. I will actively try to discourage people from spending money at this establishment.

Good drinks and friendly staff! Sad shuffleboard. Many pucks are missing blue or red color and the amount of silicone sand for the table is minimal.

Barnlight is one of my favorite joints in town! They have some of the best cocktails in downtown Eugene by far! They are always coming up with new, delicious and creative recipes. Karaoke is always fun and the bartenders put on a great show!! Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere, this bar will have you feeling right at home.

The Barn Light is as cozy, welcoming, friendly, and yummy as ever. I moved away from Eugene but always like to visit here when I'm back in town. All the cocktails we had were fantastic and you can never go wrong with the shots & beer. Jason and Skye were both welcoming, wonderful, and fantastic with a drink!

Super chill spot to play some shuffleboard and listen to music. Drinks are solid and staff is great. Caught a comedy show on a Sunday night, was a good time

I have never felt more unwelcome or unwanted in an establishment in my entire life. First bartender I spoke to was very nice and I had a very routine experience as I do in any bar, love that, love her, no big deal. However the second time around I was helped by a male bartender, he came in hot, very abrasive, and if he was "trying to be funny" it didn't feel like it. He rudely asked me what I wanted, I miss-spoke and ordered the wrong kind of whiskey. My guess was I was already on edge from how I was greeted and that's what caused me to say the wrong thing. The bartender barely made a quarter turn towards the shelf and I said "I'm sorry, I meant to say X instead of X." the bar tender stopped what he was doing and continued to berate me "IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!? ARE YOU SURE THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT?!?" I have NEVER felt like this in a bar in my ENTIRE life. I went on with my life and came back to the Barn Light in the evening hoping that he would either be gone or maybe his attitude had change. NOPE same hot headed guy giving me the exact same treatment. It got to the point that I was asking friends to order for me so I would not have to interact with this person again. From what I understand this male bartender might be an owner?? If that's true, I feel this person is in the wrong business if that's how they react under the pressure of being mildly busy. I am not normally the person to write a google review, but I felt so disrespected and that's what compelled me to take this issue a step further.
