The Barn at Scorton

Really good place. So why not all 5 stars? The handbrake really enjoyed her chicken and leak pie but thought the Veg had been sat a little too long. My Leek and Potato soup was very peppery, I love pepper but worth a mention, just that I think most of my leeks were in her pie. Not been for a while and the work that has been done is note worthy. I will be going back 100%.

The food here is really really good. The place can get a bit loud when full but we did go at lunch time. Will. Definitely be back.

Thought we would try The Barn as had seen good reviews. Food was good when it came! but service was poor. It was very busy but although we had booked it took an hour for our food to be served and 50 minutes for a pot of tea to arrive even after asking members of staff 4 times! There was a lengthy wait for plates to be cleared and we then waited so long for our sweet order to be taken that we eventually paid and left without ordering! Very disappointed!

Superb food, great price and massive portions, so you'll be taking your dessert home like everyone else does!
