The Aussie Grind

I was a bit skeptical when I first came because it was such a small space. But I realized the intimacy of the environment which I came to love. Our server Jordan was an exceptional and became a friend!

My favorite Australian place in DFW! They serve fresh and most delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner! I enjoy coming here when I can, and service is on point every time. Fully staffed, busy spot, delicious food, friendly staff, and drinks too!

Small breakfast place. Good enough food, nothing memorable. I'd go again, it's somewhat better than other breakfast places

Lets talk about this joint eh! Me to my best half: "Strewth, an aussie brekkie place in Foxy Frisco? We gotta check it out!!" She: "Hold it, cowboy! Thats a creative excuse for another huge breakfast...." An eternity later.....we reach this place Parking: Easy peasy lemon squeezy (almost)! A free parking lot, easy to see signage from the road & appreciably simplistic exterior. Score - 4.5/5. Some of the parking spaces are a bit cramped which is NOT their problem but yeah...I am fair dinkum bloke! Service: We were greeted by a boisterous waitress who was amazing in terms of how she engaged with us both + made the boss feel great and offered kind help in getting the right items on the table. Score - 6/5. Told ya, i am a straight shooter!! Food: We shared a few items -- a) the avo smash toast: splendid, fresh and generous in portion size. b) The "appetizer" slice of bread: wowza...super impressive - they actually take the bread which is baked fresh inhouse and then before serving place it on an iron skillet i suspect to crust the two faces up. Brilliant & sublime! c) Rocky Road French Toast: Delectable stuff d) Did a to-go of a Raspberry cake & another muffin....both were spot-on in terms of flavor profile Score - 6/5.....they are serious about good stuff! Drink: I had Melbourne which was healthy & pleasant with the boss choosing Brisbane which was refreshing & clean in taste We had a Capp to go & the espresso in there was roasted perfectly. Score - 5/5 Atmosphere: The place is busy busy with a nice hipster type vibe. Love the way it is laid out. Enjoy the yummo food! G'day mate!!

Good consistent place to go for breakfast. Two issues that can be easily resolved by management: 1) it’s freezing cold in the summer, and really warm in the winter because the overhead vents blow right onto the tables. 2) the portion size of side items have consistently been shrinking over the past year. Still get 2 eggs when you order 2 eggs, but the side of mushrooms and tomatoes are about 1/3 what they used to be. The service is nice, but can be a bit inattentive. A bit of nitpicking, but it’s obvious when the plate shows up at your table. Otherwise a nice place to have breakfast.

This place is the best. Laid back atmosphere with knowledgeable, friendly staff and excellent food and coffee. And the mixed drinks are made with freshly juiced juices, so yum.

The BEST breaky Ive probably ever had! You HAVE to check this place out!!

My Daughter told me about this place and I must say this place is great. The staff is awesome and friendly .. so pleasant unlike most restaurants in todays world!
