The Anchor Inn

3 Stars only because we went here hoping they were doing food after seeing online that it looked good. When we arrived, we were told they hadn't served food since the middle of last year. Seems to be just a local pub nowadays. They welcomed us in, but left ofter one drink.

Proper local pub, great atmosphere, superb steak, pies and fish and very friendly people.

Played pentaque in the rain outside so can't really review the pub. Nice pint of ale, friendly landlord, reasonably priced.

Steak night is a must
