It was absolutely amazing. The best African food I’ll had in Atlanta. 10/10 would recommend to everyone…..
Disgusting I almost threw up trying to eat because the food taste and smell so nasty. I eat this kind of soup all the time but it’s never smelt this bad. Horrible ! Never again. I’ll not even going to try to get a 30$ refund. I just won’t be back
The food was good. The jollof, fried rice, and plantains were great and I would eat it all again. Unfortunately, one of my orders was wrong, hopefully it goes better next time.
food was so good, and service was great too!
So good! Great service!!!
Sooo good!! Amazing customer service, everyone so sweet
This is my favorite place to go for Nigerian food. Moving from Houston, it was a challenge to find good food, especially Nigerian food. This place does not disappoint. The food is great and so is the service. My standard order is jollof rice with goat meat with a side of Efo. I also love their Moin Moin and Suya.
I wanted to try something new so we went with African food from Tolex. We ordered the Efo Riro with beef and Moi Moi. The flavors weren’t bad but gosh the beef, it was so tough and dry it needed to stew longer so the meat would be tender. Whoever was responsible for preparing that dish certainly didn’t put forth any quality control and taste their own dish before sending it out for purchase. Pretty disappointing unfortunately. The Moi Moi was interesting, certainly spicy, but looked nothing like the picture, did not have a boiled egg within it, and was pre-packaged, heated, and re-sold. It was not made from scratch at Tolex. I was excited to try this style of food and their ratings were good, but it just wasn’t very impressive too bad. In reply to your response which I appreciate, let me just say this. You have quite a few “tough meat” complaints with poor ratings that you have replied too. I’ll simply say this, NONE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT TENDER COOKED MEAT. It’s extremely rare that your audience will prefer dry tough meat over tender savory meat. If you are going to cook beef quick and serve it fast then don’t use CHEAP STEW meat. Use strip, ribeye, or filet meat and charge accordingly. Tough meat will continue to draw negative reviews and eliminate repeat business!
