came here for a quick coffee stop amidst a busy day collecting fieldwork data, and it did not disappoint! super friendly staff and atmosphere, great coffee and food ☕️

Travelling up the M6, so looked for a place off the motorway, which didn't add too much time. Phoned ahead and was able to book a table. Soup combination parsnip and ginger was accompanied by an excellent cheese scone. Great food - best chocolate cake in years: moist and flavoursome. Coffee enjoyable. We will make this a regular stop. The Abbey Kitchen is a great stop-off from the M6 if you fancy a change from service stations, or a good reward for walking/biking, or generally just a lovely little spot to go and have something to eat and drink. They serve the most delicious coffee and a range of loose leaf teas- and I'm not even onto food yet! Food in general is homemade on premises and is delicious, with additional specials on each week and soup and quiche of the day! Cakes are divine, service is excellent, and the prices very good for where you are! Well worth a visit! Also a good selection of gluten free, veggie and vegan options available!

A brilliant place to meet for breakfast, lunch or tea and cakes. So glad it's our local cafe.

Beautiful breakfast, amazing quality ingredients. Staff were fabulous and so attentive. They even brought over activities for my toddler. We took a few slices of cake for the road and they were delicious too. Will definitely be back on our next trip out. Thank you
