First time ever eating from here, just happened to be visiting family in the neighbourhood. Will be both the first and last time for me....ordered the special Nam Tok Moo, and no word of a lie the dish looked like a train wreck plonked into one of those plastic indian ready meal type trays. The rice was bland and the meat just as much (not to mention leather chewy), got the heat and the lime juice but sadly thats all this dish had going for it. Couldnt finish the dish as left me with an upset stomach just eating part of it....here's hoping I won't be sick tonight!! The pub/restaurant where you pick the food up from was lively enough which is the only reason i will rate 3 stars for service and atmosphere, but sadly i wont be recommending their thai food anytime soon....
This was our first visit to this recently opened Thai restaurant in a lovely country pub. It was also our first time eating Thai food and this place did not disappoint. You do have the option to choose from a range of starters, however we chose not to. I had the Chicken Massaman, despite first appearances of there not being enough, there was plenty. There was also some desserts to choose from, Sticky rice or Banana fritter with vanilla ice cream. There is also a great drinks selection from draught beers and lagers to spirits, wine and champagne. The total bill came to £30.70 between three of us. Excellent food and value, we will definitely come again. Parking: There is a large, free car park to the side of the establishment. Street parking is also available. Kid-friendliness: Well behaved children are very welcome in the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: There majority of the establishment is wheelchair accessible. However, there are some steps inside.
Had a lovely meal here , prompt service and comfortable surroundings
Third time here and every one as good as the last. Truly authentic thai meal. Service very fast and friendly.
Ate here for the first time tonight with my partner and nana. Both had never had Thai food before and the lady was excellent helping them with the dishes. I had pad Thai and it was the nicest I've had. Amazing value for money and even better taste.
Super easy to preorder and collect when you want. Absolutely gorgeous food and hands down the best prawn crackers I’ve ever had.
Fantastic tasting Thai food. Service fast and friendly. Owner very knowledgeable and loves to talk about food. This is third visit and will go back again and again. Prices are very reasonable. Parking: Loads of spaces
Had been great in the past, but really disappointed tonight. Ordered for collection at set time. Arrived 10 minutes early but thought I’d go and wait for it to be ready. To my surprise it was already sat waiting for me. Didn’t seem overly warm as made way to car. Short journey home in a heat bag and everything stone cold when back. Real shame to waste £40 of food so we ate it, but not enjoyable. Doubt we will be back.
