We came to Terrazza restaurant last February (2023) and had a fabulous meal so on our return last weekend we booked again for my mums 80th birthday. There was 10 of us and a 2 year old. We were really looking forward to it. On booking we said it was an 80th birthday but no decorations or balloon as others have written about in your reviews. This wouldn’t have mattered had the food met our expectations but sadly it wasn’t good at all. The braised beef Sunday dinner was passable. All other dishes were bland. All of the pasta dishes actually tasted the same, just different shaped pasta! I had the cod. The fish was perfect but the rest of the dish was tasteless. It had asparagus stalks on it but the heads (the best bit!) had been left off! We were all quietly disappointed but didn’t want to complain at the time as it was my mums birthday and she wanted to treat us all plus we didn’t want to spoilt the evening. There is no way this meal was worth the £420 she paid. Please pass on this message to your chefs. More seasoning is needed in all dishes and more variety of flavours.
The pasta was very watery and very overcooked for both of us.

Came for my daughters 40th birthday, a party of 15 of us....nothing was too much trouble,food was really good, the venue had put our balloons and sprinkles on the table and our big helium balloons ready for our arrival....waiter called Jack was an absolute star, he made himself available to us with a smile whenever we required something, his customer service skills were fantastic ,so a big " thankyou" to him for helping to make the evening a success . We had various items of food from the salmon off the specials menu, to braised beef, seabream,burgers and pizzas .
The food is really good , but the outstanding feature was Jess , she memorised all the orders , no notes, nothing ! And we were a table of 11 + with starters and mains . Absolutely brilliant ❤️ We are local / members of Ribby and an employee so means a lot
Started off well with a manager explaining all the dietary options and possible changes. Then we placed the order and the starter arrived. However, we then had a 45-minute wait before the main course, which delayed further plans for the evening. No explanation for the long wait was supplied, but it ruined the visit. The food was very good, just very delayed. Further visits have been excellent, and the staff were very friendly and responsive to my initial grievance. Decent Gluten-free and Lactose-free options are available. Would now recommend.
