DO NOT EAT HERE!! I ordered shrimp scampi w/linguine with extra scampi sauce and a meatball parm. The meatball parm was dry! The shrimp scampi DID NOT come with linguine...they told their was NO linguine!! A REAL CHEF will not use fettuccine noodles bcuz they are too thick for scampi sauce!! When I called, I explained that my noodles were NOT linguine, and there was no "extra sauce"!! The "manager" stated that the "Chef" included the extra sauce in the dish and didn't place it on the side, so they didn't charge me for it and that they no longer served linguine. I told her that it specifically stated on their website that this dish was with linguine, she told me that the website needed to be updated.....what???? She tried to make it seem like I was wrong, but when I stood firm about the dish coming w/ linguine, she then stated that THEY NO LONGER serve linguine. She then stated that the "chef" prepared the meal the way they always do and did not charge for the "extra" scampi sauce!!! Although I had this order delivered, I was so upset about how this "manager" tried to make me seem confused, that I drove to the store. Upon arrival, there were 2 women behind the counter and a few feet away were two young men...whom I'm assuming were the "CHEFS". They were just "chillin" while the two women were counting money and seeming to be taking care of their ONE table-- a party of 6!!! They both hesitated to make eye contact and the 2 "chefs" --- 2 guys who looked liked they were under 20, looked a little worried. I was polite but irritated. I informed them that I was the person on the phone; which I am sure they already knew bcuz of the obvious lack of eye contact! I was told that the "chef" added my extra scampi sauce-- at no additional price. But when I showed them the food, there was silence bcuz they saw how dry tbe noodles looked!! I told them---- first, this is NOT linguine--- it's fettuccine!! Secondly, what "extra sauce" was added??? It was DRRYYYYY!! (Which is why Fettuccine is NOT used for scampi bc the noodles are TOO thick and can't hold the sauce). The owner told me that they didn't charge me for extra sauce and asked if I wanted more sauce. I told her NO and stated that I just wanted my $ back. I did not appreciate the "manager" speaking to me on the phone as if I was an idiot and trying to tell me there was NO linguine and the website needed to be updated; HOWEVER, when I arrived in person, the "owner" stated that they had no linguine AT THE TIME bc they were preparing to close for 8 days. Sooooo much wrong with that!!! 1. When an order comes in and you notice you don't have the items requested, call the customer and explain and ASK if they want you to substitute the ingredients/items!! 2. DO NOT assume that people don't know that they're eating--- I am a foodie--- I know the difference between linguine and fettuccine!! 3. As a manager, owner, etc... keep in mind that the rule of thumb is that the customer is ALWAYS right!!! Word of mouth and a bad blog or review nowadays by the right person, can END YOU!! Your number one goal and priority is to always please the customer!!! The "owner" and manager fought with me, the consumer, on what was considered extra sauce and also had conflicting info as to why they did not have linguine. The manager said they needed to update the websitr, while the "owner" said they don't have linguine bc they were closing for 8 days and didn't reorder any until they open up again!!!! Overall, service sucks, the food sucks!! Flavorless, dried out and they are LIARS!!!!
We had the pizza, which was good. Want to try the pasta before I give 5 stars. Clean, friendly, no complaints. Tried the pizza again and changed my review from 4.5 to 5. Really want to try their subs & pasta still.
