Ted Cook's Where they give you More Bones Then They Give yOu MEAT!!!!! (Chopped down tooThe Bones Bones)
Enjoyed the food but the greens needed seasoning but was good, the sausage was excellent and the rib tips was excellent but was expensive I think
I was recommended this place after expressing i was craving some ribs. But true beef ribs, not like applebees or chili's type ribs, real southern, juicy, meaty ribs. That is not what i got here. I have the ribs 3 stars because had they not been mostly bone, these would be really good ribs. But to charge people $25+ tax for large Flinstone bones with meat just on the sides of the bone is CRIMINAL. If i took all the meat off the bones and weighed it it'd probably only reach about 8 oz fr. My friend who recommended the place had told me they could eat 20 of these ribs and now I see why. They are so little and meatless it's a shame. There's no I should be able to eat 7 whole ribs comfortably, and he eat 20 in a setting. That tells you a lot. I can't even say I'd order here again because the next thing i like is brisket but they slice theirs into thin strips rather than slabs like I'm used to. 3/10 overall and thats for flavor and tenderness of the meat i did get to eat. **And the "jojos" are terrible, no further words on that.
Call Ted's ribs in the rib tips meatballs right I ate at market BBQ twice it was like eating beef jerky off the bones dry tennis the
Chicken was a bit dry/over cooked and the black eye peas had no flavor! Not the same Ted Cook's
Hands down the best BBQ in the Twin Cities. Been going to Ted Cook's for 30 plus years.
Decent ribs that I prefer with no sauce. The make great ribs but there sauce is only slightly above average store purchased.
