Tavern 19

Decent pub style restaurant within the Independence Golf Club clubhouse. Food is good with a decent menu & beer selection, friendly staff, and avg. prices, but the atmosphere of Tavern 19 is a bit lacking ... definitely not on par with the rest of the property.

Specifically said no blue cheese on salad and oil vinegar salad dressing my salad was covered with blue cheese. $20 plus in the garbage . I called and no recourse! Never eating there again

Best kept secret! Located at Independence Golf club. Also a great place for wedding and party venues, etc. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, highchairs

After moving back to the Richmond area more than a year ago I've been trying to come up with my new "best of" list. In my opinion, Tavern 19 has one of the best pizzas in the Richmond area. It is more of a neopolitan type pizza, so very doey. They have a great selection of beer and, when weather is right, nice scenic outdoor seating overlooking the picturesque golf course. Plus, reasonably priced.
