Tatu Tacos & Tequila

Love this place! Flavors are unique - not the same old tacos. Tried several menu items and loved them all. Camote was great vegetarian option and could drink their coconut Marg all night. Service was attentive and love the cool atmosphere. #cooleatsTroy

First time at this restaurant with a Mexican food connoisseur. Fantastic to say the least. The service was excellent, Moon was attentive without being obstructive. The place is beautifully decorative and tables are well spaced out but felt very intimate and inviting. Music choice in the background was great without being obnoxiously loud. Drinks cocktails were delicious, I could go back to the bar only for that. Food is a fresh and new addition to the tired old Mexican menus we are used in the capital area. Delivers flavors without compromising esthetics. The fusion of flavors was spot in and stay true to the Mexican base. Kudos to the chef. My husband got a dessert on the house for his birthday. Nice and kind touch. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is pretty bad. The birria tacos are inedible... no flavor on the meat, unbelievably greasy and the cheese was congealed... the consome was somehow even worse... it had the texture of a mole and honestly tasted like mole... Ceviche was not bad (6.5/10). Guacomole was fine. The atmosphere is nice, however the music doesn't really make sense for what the restaurant was. The service is good. The bartender is quick, attentive and makes good drinks. Definitely recommend for the drinks and the vibe but I would recommend you eat elsewhere as Troy has way better Mexican spots.

The food here is superb, and the atmosphere unbeatable. It is anything but just another taco joint. It is a very unique fusion of Mexican and Middle Eastern. The chef is a rock star, and the other owner is a very talented artist. Both of their talents shine through in this gem of a place. Troy is lucky to have them. Saratoga's loss.

Pretty excellent every way I look at. Downtown location has a bit of a parking challenge, but worth the hassle. Service was personable and warm.
