Taste of Colombo

Please don't go to taste of Colombo (taste of devil] order chicken biryani and fish fry 32 dollar waste of money I think this briyani prepared more than one week and fish is like fish karuvadu please don't Go to taste of devil

Food was good. Tasted like Sri lankan homemade food more than like restaurant food. Service is also good. There was a good guy. But then when we went to pay, there was a lady. I think it is the owner. She entered the stuff of the screen and asked to pay we tipped that guy 15% which is like $8 but she didn't give us the bill. Then we asked for the bill and took it. When we checked the bill we were charged 15% as service charge and we were not even informed about it. Which is not at all normal in any of the restaurants in Canada. Basically we have tipped on top of service charge too. Which is unfair. If I knew I would have tipped the guy by cash. Also that lady didn't give the bill so without disclosing it is not correct to take service charge.

The taste of food is awesome here, kidu and paysum is awesome :)

We ordered the mutton curry. I went in paid and waited 10 min. When I got home I saw more bones than meat. We are people not dogs . Last time going here . This place sucks big time .. dont waste your money here and the music sucked

Bought chicken briyani , two chicken fried rice, chili chicken, chicken devil. I ate many places in colomb Sri Lanka but this food is awful .chickens seems to be fried days before for the chili or devil chicken and the chicken briyani looks like microwaved fried rice tastes like not well cooked also the chicken inside and the food came after 45min with reason that they are cooking for big order, which is another disappointing I am not satisfied with the food. And the bill came with $74 waste of money.

This is the nest best fried rice I have ever had in my life. Amazing!
