Taqueria El Patron

Wanted to check out this restaurant. Ordered 2 tacos with barbacoa beef. Place wasn't busy. Food took a while to get ready, and meat was served cold. Cannot recommend.

Very nice small restaurant. Food quality and taste were great! A dinner plate + non-alcoholic drink ran about $22 but was very filling. Hard to finish it all. Beer & Wine were not available on my visit in early March 2024, but a license was pending. Phone in / take out orders seemed to be popular although my partner and I dined in. Parking: Plenty of street parking available along Xerxes Ave between 49th and 50th streets. You may have to walk a half block or so. Kid-friendliness: A small restaurant but kids welcomed and well behaved when I was there. Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t recall there being any steps to impede wheelchair access into the restaurant.

Best breakfast burrito I have ever had hands down, their chorizo is so good.
