Food is overrated and pretty expensive to be honest. I ordered the birria and tongue tacos, just one of each, costing nearly 10 dollars for 2. The birria was shockingly dry and the tongue was so so ok.
It's good but so expensive. 1 torta plus chips and salsa came to a little over $19. No drink, no extras. The adobada is good and the food is filling, but can't justify that kind of price for what I get.
Randomly stopped by Tapatios because we could sit somewhere with the dogs. AMAZING!!!! Traveling from the DC area and you can find good Mexican like this in DC. Awesome and friendly staff. Stellar food!!! Cute little grocery.
Ignore the Negs We enjoy this Food on the Regs. The Reviewers complaining about the price should try to delivery the consistent high level of quality and flavor that Tapaios does. The food here is always on point.
The best Tacos I’ve ever had!!! Definitely five stars and two thumbs up!!!
Marshalls hidden gem; tacos are amazing
A true hole in the wall kinda place. Highly, highly recommend. One of the best meals I've had. It's not a true restaurant, but a hybrid restaurant/grocery store. Food was outstanding and served within 15 minutes of ordering. Amazing. Will definitely return.
Once we entered, the atmosphere was warm welcoming and smelled sooo good. Birria 10/10, chicken quesadilla 10/10.
$4 for a street taco is a bit much, but the flavors are pretty good. I would guess the options in this area are fairly limited, so you end up with a average street tacos for 4 bucks. The torta was pretty good, but nothing spectacular 1 torta, 2 tacos and 1 jamaica for $28 and nothing to write home about Even at a cheaper price point there would be nothing spectacular about this place My wife, who's is Mexican, didn't even want to order once she found out the tacos were over $4 each
