This is a special place in Sedona. Best Tamales and Molé to die for (burrito or plate)!
Food was flavourless. I tried this place two years ago and it was good. This time I was extremely disappointed when I took my family thinking they will enjoy. I have never seen a mexican place with not having peppers. Salsa looked bottled. Tamale tasted worse than the frozen vegan tamales. There was one small chopped piece of pepper in the whole Tamale. Extremely expensive and not satiating quality at all. They want o charge $5 for just serving plates to share. very small servings of spanish rice!! Taco had no vegetables in it and no flavour except the green tomatillo sauce. It was a challenge to eat and hard throw away organic food. Never again
Tamaliza lived up to all of my expectations! My wife and I hoped to find authentic Mexican food while in Sedona and it was perfect! We had a wonderful meal and our host was very pleasant and helpful with our Order! I really wish we could go there all the time but we are from Indianapolis! Vegetarian options: I had my first ever Vegan Tamale! Dietary restrictions: Many vegan options! Parking: 10 Kid-friendliness: A wonderful atmosphere!
Outstanding food! Friendly owners and staff. We took carry out to eat at a local brewery.
Stopped in for a late lunch. Pay before you eat, food not good, and just a weird setup. Friendly service, but needs help in the kitchen. A little overpriced for typical Mexican food.
Was better a few years ago. Maybe a different cook. Prices are really high now too. Service is still good. Ok but better quality places in town for same price.
Not only is everyone here so friendly and welcoming. The food. THE FOOD! It was so delicious, fresh, authentic. We had the tamales supreme, chilies relleno, burrito, tepeche (fermented pineapple drink) and horchata. What a gem. Go, go, go!
Amazing hidden gem that we found after a long and strenuous hike - excellent food, friendly service and great atmosphere. An added bonus - the view from this restaurant was insane. Highly recommend the mole tamales, the horchata and the cafe de olla. Thanks! Parking: A dedicated parking lot with a few spots next to the restaurant, and also some street parking options
