Tamalcalli The Tamale, Taco & Cerveza stand

Tastes ok, but for the price it's definitely not worth it. 3 birria tacos for over $16-$17, that is just not acceptable to me. I can go to cantina Laredo and get chips and salsa, and a steak burrito with beans and rice for the same price. I haven't tried the tamales or the street tacos yet, so I may change the review, but so far, imma have to go 3 stars. If the other stuff ends up being better, I could see this getting 4 stars, but with the prices as they are, they really can't get 5 stars.

We placed an order with door dash and total I believe it was almost 60 for three meals. This was without delivery fees as it’s a pickup order. We received one quesabirria meal without consommé and our nachos only came with beans and small ground meat (supposed to be carne asada) it was pretty bad and there was no cheese, queso or other toppings such as veggies or even a sauce. To spend that much and not have my child have “nachos” was disappointing. And what was there did not taste well. I would say the quesabirria here is a southern version and not authentic. The meat tasted like shredded pot roast but was mainly fat. The consommé we did get tasted like au jus. The meat was almost burnt and the tacos sat in a tablespoon of oil in the container. The rice was ok and beans not very good. Maybe this was not representative of the restaurant and it was an off night.

This place is great! Definitely a must visit. They have great frozen margaritas, tamales, and tacos Also super great vibes and music. MarMar with the beautiful make up and nails took good care of us We will definitely be back!!

Legit Mexican food. As a West Coast transplant, it's legitimately hard to find good Mexican in little rock. Nothing here is bad. Service is great. Only minus if I had one is this place is small. Very little seating. So if you are planning on eating in, I can see an issue arising if they are busy. I'll leave you with this. The carne asade buritto and carne asade fries are stupid good. I suggest those.

Food was so good! They do not skimp on the meat and size of tamales! Everything was so delicious! Will most definitely be coming back. The vibe in the restaurant as so chill as well. The hot sauces were amazing as well! The pink tamales was strawberry and cream and way better then expected. 10/10 recommend!

Mexican food with a nice touch of American. Burrito with Cheetos and another with fries. Excellent food and service. Can't wait to go back and try more!
