3x your out. Last 2 times I ordered a hamburger both time cold . Not sat there cold never heated cold. This time I asked for a half chicken dinner white meat only. Was told can't do. 2 dark is ok though. If it was to cost more ok but to deny a customer the food they want is not ok. Never going back again. BTW this is my first bad review on Google congrats! Placed an order online as most establishments prefer. Ordered 4 meals, and extra chalet sauce, and the desert donuts. Online said ready in 15 minutes so I arrived in 15 minutes. 3 of the meals were ready, on she said will be another 15 minutes. I'm not going to stand there for 15min while the other 3 meals are bagged and in my hands so has to settle for drumsticks instead if half chicken or wait and let the other 3 meals go cold. Got back home, the extra sauce I ordered was a chicken soup. One meal was missing its chalet sauce, and the Desert donuts were missing the caramel dip. 4 errors in one order. I tried calling the location a few times over an hour and got no answer. I drove back inquired about the mistakes. I was told they offer the donuts but they don't offer the caramel dip that's advertised. Between 4 of us we has 2 small chalet sauce dips to share, one meal that wasn't preferred, and dry donuts with no dip that tasted like they had been on the clearance shelf of a grocery store for being expired. Based off the other reviews it seems like this location needs a corporate evaluation and some training assistance to better represent the Swiss Chalet, or just shut it down so people choose a location that cares. Oh and the apology they gave me was an expired voucher for a free 1/4 chicken dinner.
Stopped in passing through town with the family. The 1/4 chicken dinner was tiny, cold, and the fries were hours old and the server forgot our drinks entirely. Definitely a poor experience from this franchise when others are miles ahead. Avoid and go elsewhere!
The chicken does not taste like a traditional Swiss chalet chicken and the fries are different at this location and the chicken spring rolls are EXTREMELY greasy to the point I had to throw them out. Management needs to get a hold on this location because continued ratings like this will get you fired or worst yet get this location closed down and no one deserves to lose their jo
Owner-operator of this location is the worst! Went to this location and ordered food. Also ordered extra chalet salad dressing packages which they sell at every other location (and from this location on the app). The owner came out and was incredibly rude, lecturing me about how he isn’t in the business of selling salad dressing and refused to sell it to me (even though it is on the menu). He said no Swiss chalet location would sell me the salad dressing. I left without my food and will never be going back to this location.
This is actually just a Harvey's that serves chicken and chalet sauce. My seasoned fries came with no seasoning and were sitting out a while. They're just awful Harvey's fries instead of the double fried Swiss Chalet style. The chicken is fine, but a bit plain as well. Service was great as a fast food restaurant, but as long as they're attached to Harvey's, they can't fix the food. Go somewhere else.
Worst Swiss Chalet dinner ever. Order placed online 7:02pm curbside pickup for 7:17pm, but I waited & had to get the attention of the lad running orders to find out where mine was. 7:35 it comes out and he assures me it was just made. Cold & hard baked potato, no sour cream Cold & hard creamy mashed potatoes Barely warm fries Tasteless chicken, cut in half not quartered as requested. The poutine was apparently hot. Come on guys the poor quality in delivering cold and tasteless food is not what I know this location for…missing order details that’s a common issue. Very disappointing order & takeout experience and frankly a waste of $55 for a less than mediocre dinner. I see no benefit ordering online or through the app. Your order gets lost or forgotten and you end up waiting longer than those that go through the drive-thru and get cold food.
Well, this was really just a Harvey’s at Waterdown. We ordered the Christmas special dinners and they came in a cardboard box. And with no plates to eat off of, so we had to eat the food straight from the box. There was one square of ribs next to one piece of chicken. Nothing elegant or special about this Christmas dinner. With a few great big containers of sauce. The ice machine didn’t work. The young woman who worked at the counter barely spoke above a whisper, so we couldn’t hear answers to our questions. The bathrooms were absolutely miserable, With dirty bits of paper floating across the floor when the hand driers were on. A truly horrible location.
