Sweethoney Dessert

Three of us ordered three different desserts to try and each of us found something they liked. Too bad it’s served in plastic single use bowls and plastic spoons. Cash or debit only.

I ordered this on uber eats for $11.95… this is the most disappointing thing I have ever consumed and paid for. The container is the size of my palm. There was ONE chunk of mango and the “taro balls” were the size of the small sago. I would be understanding if they didnt even put an advertised picture, but they did and it’s false advertising - looks nothing alike.

The mango dessert tasted like diluted mango juice, lacking the vibrant, sweet flavour from fresh mangoes. Disappointing experience, plus you have to add $2 for any mango desserts. Well, I gave them another chance… We tried their brown sugar pearl milk tea and it’s not bad, but nothing special too. Tastes the same as the others. We also had calamari (with ketchup dip) and the baked durian sago pudding, which were just OK… (Btw, food is served in ‘to-go’ containers even when you dine in)

Portion for milk pudding is unacceptable, way too small for 9 dollars Edit: gave this store a second try, paid 12 dollars for a mango black rice milk ice thing. The mango portion is way too small for 12 dollars and is literally not sweet at all, but I guess the glutinous rice was alright. However the shaved milk ice melted together to form this big ice cube that is not fun to eat or break apart with the small plastic spoon that came with it. Also, there is way way too much of this shaved ice that shouldn't really be the main focus of this dessert. After finishing, around 40 percent of the bowl was just filled with this melted milk ice. If you really want this dessert, go to a Thai restaurant instead of here as it do not do this dessert enough justice. Overall I will definitely not come back after this second disappointment no matter what kind of dessert I am craving.

I’ve ordered to-go a few times each time the portions of toppings were so little the taro balls are so tiny, barely any mango, if you pay for extra topping they barely give any. The photos they advertise vs. what you get are night and day.

You're going to pay $40 after a few bite. I really don't mind paying a large sum of money for eating but this is so expensive for the quantities and service. They gave us a lid of disposal container for the side dish and wished for the tip. This is the funniest in this year !!!

I ordered 2 things from that store from fantuan that day: the mango pancake and papaya milk with sago, salt cream and grass jelly. The mango pancake was good but the papaya milk tasted TERRIBLE and unfortunately ruined the whole experience. The sago I got was not cooked all the way through, it was still hard when I bit into it, the drink itself also didn’t have a papaya taste at all, it just tasted like watered down milk that has just a few papaya chunks in them. For this drink being $9 I would have expected the sago to at least be cooked all the way through… I wouldn’t ever come back for the drinks

never hardly any customers in the shop, when i walked in, no hello no welcome whatsoever. picked up my online order to go, i ordered a taro milk dessert drink, all i got is a few taro crumbles in a watered down milk! definitely not worth the $7-8 paid. it was the worst drink i ever had. i am very surprised this place still exists!

Rip off. I'm from Singapore and have had the real Taiwanese stuff. Got the mango pomelo sago and they serve you cheap mango puree with 2 pieces of mango and 3 strands of pomelo. Awful.
