Suwana's Thai Orchid

I’ve eaten here twice in the past several months. Both times the service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. Our server tonight was efficient, friendly, kind, fun, and full of smiles…making for a great dining experience. I look forward to rewarding my taste buds with the saporous, complex flavors of Suwana’s Thai Orchid.

Great good and fast service! The Thai iced tea and steamed dumplings were bangin’! The pad Thai was so good, but very spicy! I ordered it hot and it was hotter than I anticipated but still so good!

While in Asheville, we stopped at Suwana’s Thai Orchid for dinner and we had high expectations because of the reviews. When we arrived, we were able to sit wherever we wanted because they weren’t crowded. I noticed that the atmosphere and decor was pleasant and relaxed. So that only increased my expectations. I ordered the Green Curry and my daughter ordered the Shrimp Basil Fried Rice and an order of Spring Rolls. The appetizer came out first and they were slightly bland so we put salt on them to flavor them up. My daughter’s Chicken Fried Rice was also bland and she had to keep putting salt on it to add flavor. Needless to say, she wasn’t happy with her dish. My Green Curry was decent but the chef definitely could’ve made the sauce slightly thicker and added more chicken. I was disappointed with the outcome and I’ve learned that there seems to be a difference in what some reviewers consider to be flavorful or delicious. The service was very good but overall, i would not try Suwana’s Thai Orchid when in Asheville again.

Amazing food great service 100% recommend.

Owner is openly racist, and it’s well-documented. They charge automatic 20% tip for diners that are of certain races that the owner believes leave bad tips. Don’t support this place.

Don't go to this place that discriminates against non-americans.Just say no when they open a new place in Black Mountain! Parking: good location for finding parking

Delicious and affordable. Every time! Try the curry or spicy fried rice. The mango sticky rice is also delicious. YUM!

Great food! It has glutenfree fried rice. This was some of the best Thai food I've had. Pad z ew is so good!
