Sushi Sooshimi

After our first visit, this became my partners and I favourite sushi spot! We’ve been coming here at least twice a month and every time we are please with not only the service and atmosphere but the food as well. We absolutely love getting the Crazy Tuna and Pink Lady. We like to try other sushi options as well and in our honest opinion everything we’ve tasted so far is delicious and fresh! This seems like a family owned business so we love to help out small businesses!

Just a normal strip-mall sushi place, but very disappointing meal. The food came out in random order after the soup (vs apps first), and every piece was meh to disappointing. Spicy tuna was not that spicy, edamame was covered in pepper (not salt), and the tempura shrimp seemed like it was frozen from a grocery store (not tempura batter). Service was disjointed and slow. To top it off, we were all sick with stomach pains immediately after leaving. Will not return.

We just finished eating at this place. This was your typical strip mall place. The food was meh at best. We got our appetizers after our rolls arrived. The rolls were sloppy at best, covered in overpowering sauces. The tempura looked like they had bought it at M&M's. What was worse, we both had stomach cramps as soon as we left.

I just discovered this place because of its convenience, went in to make an order for take out- the individual tells me “sorry come back a different day because we are too busy” there was no one in the place. Only 2 people who weren’t eating. This is around 6pm. So if you’re planning on having a sushi dinner find somewhere else.

I had a great overall experience. The rolls were flavourful and very well presented. Personally, I prefer rolls with a thin layer of rice and these hit the mark perfectly. I didn’t put the 5 stars in service because even though the place was quiet it took some time to get the food but we enjoyed it so definitely will comeback.
