Sushi Republic

A must if you're anywhere near Greensboro as and enjoy sushi! We traveled from Durham to try Sushi Republic and everything exceeded our expectations. The food and service was outstanding. Both house and flavored hot sake was a hit. Don't forget to try the tempura Oreos before you leave!

Great lunch special with soup, salad, and choice of roll or sushi assortment. Good food, good service, etc.

The restaurant was packed with a 20-30m wait so we sat at the bar. I ordered sushi and my husband a variety of apps to make a meal. I couldn’t believe how quickly our food came despite how busy they were. Oh and the waiter (a guy who has been there a long time) kept our drinks full too! As always it was delicious too. It’s absolutely my favorite place for sushi in Greensboro!

This spot has fab food, sweet servers, and it’s so cozy inside. I had a sushi lunch special and my bill with a $4 tip it was only $16. It’s my new favorite for sure!

Sushi Republic for the win again!! We absolutely love the sushi here. We usually get their Chef special and let the chef use his creativity!

Wow, this place really went down. I had the worst sushi ever. The Tuna/salmon tasted rotten. The other sushi rolls tasted bland. Very little to them. I can't believe I wasted my time and money eating here.

So so delicious!!! We started with a cocktail. They had a menu of fun seasonal type martinis that were really great. We ordered an appetizer, Beef Bulgogi Tacos, the beef was so flavorful and they were just really good. Next we shared Udon noodles. These we had without meat. The sauce was light flavorful and delicious. They were not heavy or sweet. Next we shared the sashimi combo. The octopus tasted fresh and just slightly salty, very good. The tuna, salmon, yellowtail, and there was another fish but I can’t remember what it’s called all were soft and melted in your mouth. To finish we shared a roll that was cooked on the outside but raw on the inside. I really liked this as well. Everything I tried at this restaurant was outstanding. We did have a reservation but were sat in the bar beside the host stand/door area not a great table but the food was outstanding so it’s okay. I would get rid of this table or use it for To Go orders.
