This was my first time here. I tend to shy away from restaurants with cutsie names and upscale restaurants with Cafe in the name. This place is outstanding, all around. Had oysters on the half shell. Not the gigantic Pacific oysters. They were petite, briny, and firm, and the sauce was delicious. On the specials board, they had giant squid. It has been years, so I ordered it as well. Beautiful! I'll be back, often.
The decor of the restaurant was really nice. Very cozy. The fish was very fresh and the service speed was pretty quick for a busy Friday night.
The best hidden gem in Sacramento. Great food and great service! Even the owner comes and says Hi sometimes!
First time here, I enjoyed my lunch. Price was reasonable for two. Service was great and beer was cold.
I’ve been to many sushi restaurants in the Sacramento area, and this is my favorite. Every employee is so nice, and the prices are very reasonable. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
some of the best sushi we’ve had in awhile. Would highly recommend! It’s gets really busy for weekend dinner, so be sure to get an appetizer as rolls can sometimes take awhile to come out.
Was good & nice variety. Seemed a bit less fresh than expected, but we'd go again. They could do with a bit better Wasabi & ginger tableware at seating. But nice staff & is better than people think overall.
