Bad food, bad service, worse owner, go to Busara Went here with my girlfriend late one day. We were the only table. I got the Swimming Rama spinach. Came out and the peanut sauce had no flavor, the only thing the spinach tasted like was salt and the entire thing was sitting in a pool of spinach water and some soy sauce. Had 3 bites (one of spinach, one of peanut sauce and one of beef to give it a fair shot) and it was awful. When the waiter asked how the food was I said it wasn’t great and they didn’t apologize, offer solutions, or anything. Just tip toed around doing anything about it until I said I was NOT going to eat it. At that point they said they’d see what they could do, took 5 minutes in the back, and then said “sorry nothing I can do” like what? After holding my ground that “oh well” wasn’t a good enough answer they offered to get the owner. Owner came out and basically just told me “all my other customers like it clearly it’s a problem with you, you have to eat it” very rude, very self righteous, very wrong. Oddly enough I don’t doubt my ability to know what wilted spinach and too much salt tastes like. They did eventually take my meal away and take it off the bill, but even after that I could hear the owner in the back talking badly about me and how I don’t know what I’m talking about. I just ended up splitting my girlfriend’s meal (Thai style pad thai) which was decently good. But the 1 meal, a soda, and a Thai tea cost like $28 before tip which is nuts for what it was. Never coming here again, just go to Busara it’s the same price or less and 10x better with fantastic staff
So glad we tried the food at Supon's Thai Kitchen. The courteous waitress informed us the heat scale could go to 20 if the usual 1-5 wasn't enough. We found a 4 out of 5 was perfect for the Panang Curry, Rad Na and Rama dish. The bell peppers in the curry were cooked perfectly tender and cut large for full flavor. The Rad Na is my wife's favorite dish with wide cut noodles, garlic and tender meat. The freshness of the vegetables was apparent in all the dishes and each dish differentiated from the next. A very enjoyable experience.
I'm thai guy and I have to work at Bellingham for 2-3 month. I getm overh here becaus I hungry and I was asking owner for make to order(padgrapaow-khaidoaw:Stir-fried basil with fried eggs), food's verry nice and original food taste, you can try for support local and protect food culture.
Perfect, food was excellent and the person who served us was very nice and funny.
The best Thai food I've had, and great service.
I’ve only ever gotten takeout, but the food is always delicious! Regardless of what I order, it’s always big portions and loaded with veggies. It’s a tiny operation, and the staff members are always very friendly. I have a ton of Thai restaurants within walking distance to choose from, and after trying them all, I always come back to Supon’s!
Garlic Veggies, chock full of chicken, Musman Curry, just the right spiciness, Swimming Rama w. vegetables not just spinach...super good peanut sauce. We've tried every Thai in Bham and always go back to Supon's. Flavorful sauces and perfect spiciness when asking for 1 star (try it, you'll love the flavors that aren't just Hot!) Other Asian rest. really struggle with fewer stars and Supon's gets it right every time. Could use more waitstaff but we just chill out and try to not get stressed about waiting. 10 for food! Vegetarian options: We don't miss the meat because the sauces are so good. Most dishes can be made with tofu or nothing. Remember to ask about fish sauce, though.
