I love Summermoon! Their spiced chai latte with quarter moon is just heavenly. So creamy, so flavorful, and so delicious! It’s also a fun place to get some work done if needed and they have merch available for purchase. If you want to try to craft your own Summermoon drink, they sell the Moon Milk by itself so you can make yummy Summermoon-esque drinks at home. Highly recommend this place!

Whoa, Nellie. I order a latte. What I got was a little coffee and a lot of Moon Milk which may have a family story but is just a little dairy product and a lot of sweet product. Admittedly, there is a graphic showing approximate ratios of coffee, moon milk, and other milk in each cutely named drink. But, there is nothing to prepare you for the horrible sweetness that overwhelms any coffee taste regardless of how the beans were roasted. They obviously have modern copywriters who believe it is the story that counts, reality less so. The bottom line is if you like coffee be aware that the moon drinks are not. After going there I looked for reviews as a way of checking my own taste. I got distracted by the controversy surrounding some, all maybe (I don’t know) of the owners due to stores having strong pro-life and anti-LBGTQ+ policies. Another good reason to stay away from moon sugar coffee. (If pro-life folks are also anti-LBGTQ+ does this mean they believe the LBGTQ folks do not have rights to life?)
