Visited the 12 and VanDyke store, ordered a 12in turkey cali and a cookie in the drive thru. When I got home I had a turkey sub with the add one that I added to the turkey cali, but not the items that come one the turkey Cali sub. The cookie was not in the bag, I looked for the receipt to make sure I didn’t get charged for it, but of course the receipt was not in the bag either. The guy at the window was nice but I did not receive what I ordered. I didn’t feel like getting back in the car to go back to the restaurant.
Good food. Parking: Too few slots in too small of a space for safe maneuvering.
Definitely would not ever recommend this Subway location. The person physically wrote down the order in a notebook, verified the order multiple times and I got home to find out it was incorrect. Did I mention that she originally overcharged us and I had to get that corrected? I called to let them know my order was messed up, and the same person answered the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was not one and she hung up. I called multiple times, but no answer.
Prices are significantly higher at this location than others in the area.
Drive thru that you have to get out and order. Small little shop on corner food is pretty fresh and of course made to order.
Overall, this place has some weird atmosphere.but now it's downright malicious. Just made a little side comment why I wanted to toast the peppers and onions first in my philly since I don't like em raw. The employee start to rant about it immediately, put the toppings under the cheese so they don't get crispy. They just get wilted and wet. Can't correct em beforehand because it was escalating. I got reverse Karen'd. Five extra words that say my preference and my order is now luke warm, used with the old bread and sloppy. You ain't making a Monte Cristo out of mayo and olive oil, you're just putting the toppings on top. It's like getting mad over saying you dislike hamburger pickles.
I came in a couple of weeks ago. Honestly there is one employee who impressed every customer in line. She was the only one in the store and had a line of customers. It was during lunch rush hour. She remained extremely polite while also showing pure hustle working through each order. Come to find out, she was short a coworker. She did not show one ounce of stress nor did she sacrifice quality. Amazing composure and work ethic!
Thank you to Jaden and Eric for the wonderful service. The food was fresh and delicious. We will be back to this location on 12 and Van Dyke for sure.
i shouldn’t have even eaten my sandwich after going in here. the nozzles on the pop machines had something hanging from. the pop itself was the flattest i’ve ever gotten right from one of those machines. then the person making my sandwich told me they had had a huge problem with flies. all the red flags were there, and i still ate my sandwich. 3/4 through, i pull a red curly hair out of my mouth. neither i nor anyone else i know has red curly hair. it was definitely in there before i started in on it. don’t repeat my mistake, just go to one of 1000 other locations that actually cleans.
Great. Service/experience.
