I was a frequent customer of the subway inside the Ponchatoula, Louisiana Walmart for a while. Today 6/24/22 I went in there to use my coupon for two foot longs for $12.99 and I was told that I could not use my coupon due to a food shortage. I understand things are more expensive now with the raised fuel prices, but really. Subway’s so called $5 dollar footlong is 6 dollars and if I wanted two that 12 bucks plus tax. The coupon is charging me 13 so how am I getting a deal that would cause a greater food shortage. I don’t know if this is a business move across all subways or if it was only at that location. But to not honor your own coupons mailed to your customers is a bad way of doing business. I will never spend another cent at that location. I will help them solve their food shortage and let it root before I buy anything from there again. If there really is a food shortage, then it should be known company wide and relayed to all customers that there is now a limit on how many sandwiches you can purchase. Until then I will not be going to any Subway business in the future and I will be reviewing my experience on google, Facebook and yelp and any other form of SM I can to pass this info along.
