Just an absolute shambles from start to finish. It was busy and there was a queue - but the team were dreadful and it took well over an hour to get a cup of tea and a latte - by which time our pasties had gone cold. The scone with jam and cream was nice The ladies loos were shocking and obviously not regularly checked as, when I closed the door I found a rather unpleasant ‘decoration’ stuck to it. The tea room experience spoilt our otherwise lovely day out. My advice - take a picnic! You can eat when you want that way and you won’t feel an inconvenience to the staff …
Friendly efficient service
Ordered large Lattes to takeaway, extra hot, granted at 3.45pm 15 minutes before they close. Very poor, basically lukewarm milk with little evidence of any coffee in them. At £3.65 each this is a total ripoff. If at that time of the day they can’t provide a good coffee they should say so . Won’t be buying a coffee here again, I will start carrying a flask. Very bad service NT
Good for a hot cuppa after a picturesque walk.
Visited and waited in a queue for over 30 minutes just for 4 hot drinks. There was no fresh food or cakes, just packaged sandwichrs as they were clearly unprepared for a busy Sunday. The smell from the cess pit nearby was disgusting.
